1800kv on 6s too high? Not for me. Please realize this is what I'm running this second and things have been tried and changed and tried again a few times since the photo and build post. NOTHING is set in stone. Flying styles/abilities and track conditions, size, and layouts are a major factor in chosing prop, motor, and lipo choice and the ability to finish a race. I'm not a great "racer" in my opinion but those things always remain an issue.
Heres a similar build on the same props and same kv motors. I wouldnt say it's slow at all.
