It's a Kopis on Steroids. I originally set out to built a reasonable Kopis with some good 2207 or 2306 motors, but when I found out that the BrotherHobby 2507 motors were on closeout for $16.50/each, cheaper than the smaller motors, this became Project 2507. The oversized motors give this quad a lot of grunt and despite their weight it is snappy and responsive. Using the pitchiest 5" props I could find, it is built for speed, acceleration and insane punch outs, but it is also a good aerobatic rig. With my big Fluoreon 4S 2200mAh 45C batteries this thirsty quad has hit 121mph on APC 5.1x5 props and it drains the battery, which is not rated for this kind of amp draw, quite fast. Sub 4 minute flight times, peak draw of 148A.
Weight: 333g sans battery
Top Speed: 121mph

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
