Hi Chaos can you post pics of how you mounted the flight controller and components?

Chaos   5 days ago

the airblade whitenoise board really helped keep it all clean.  its tight but works well.

Hi great build! I also have a Intrepid 3"pro and was wondering where I could buy the TPU mount for the GPS? How do you like the Superman motors? I am using the RotorX 1404 3600kv they work great with a 650mah about 8-9min causal flying with tiny amout of acro.

Hi what TPU material did you use for the GPS mount ? Did you use ninjaflex and what settings did you use on the printer

Chaos   5 days ago

it was just a standard tpu material. not sure where it's from.   I print with a Prusa MK3,  mostly default settings but around 2.5mm of retraction.

What kind of mounting screws and standoffs did you use for your Caddx? I have a Split mini and accidentally used metal screws and it shorted my FC- sucks

Chaos   5 days ago

that sucks man. im using the caddx turtle on this one. just used 2mm screw and standoffs

can you try 550mah? also is that 7 mins doing hardcore acro or just cruising?

I have 550 also, flight time is still 5-6 minutes. The mentioned 7 min flight time is just long range cruising with the odd acro move, freestyle flight is usually around 3 minutes.

The iFlight XL5 V3 is a fantastic freestyle frame for the price. It features chamfered edges on some very nice quality carbon fiber. My goal for this build was to use high quality components at a relatively low price. Not only that, but I managed to reduce the number of solder points to the bare minimum. I've never built such a plug-in-play quad! The flight controller has an integrated VTX and doesn't..

Update! Happymodel has released a new V2 Frame which uses a more durable plastic. The Happymodel Mobula7 is one of those rare treats to hit the micro scene. Countless models hit the market every month, but this one just happens to check all the boxes. It's a 2S brushless micro with a 75mm motor stance. It's slightly larger than the more traditional 65mm brushed micros, but it's still quite small...
