NOT an easy first build, but I did it!
I had to modify those fancy carbon side plates with my dremel to accomodate the boards, and I literally just glued and ziptied the rx and the vtx. The vtx I went with is simply too big for this frame, so i have it tentatively ziptied on top of the canopy, though I'm contemplating replacing it with something smaller. If I could go back and do it again (which I will, someday when I recover financially from this one) I would opt for separate ESCs instead of using the 4-in-1. There just wasn't enough space for it to make sense. It also complicated things trying to get an AIO FC to play nice with the 4-in-1 ESC and not miss out on current sensing or anything, hence the sloppy extra wire running under the XT-60 (which I'm casually not giving you a great angle on due to shame)
But it flies, and I'm overjoyed and already planning another one, much to my wife's chagrin.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
