finally after some postal issues got my 'EVO' alloy midpaltes for the raptor airframes... these things came out really nice and i got all the dimensions spot on.. the benefits of these plates is around 5g over all weight saved thanks to the shorter bolts and lack of press-nuts, a slight gain in stiffness and the new centre peg locks up the arms really solidly.. a proper one bolt system with a super quick arm change system that doesn't disturb the stack or the rest of the airframe. flying wise it has a slightly lower noise floor but other than the sexy factor it feels much the same in the air.. of course the new arms are backwards compatible with older versions of the airframe, my fleet is all using the 'mild hybrid config with 5" SX arms in front and 5" true X, really like the way they turn but it could totally be placebo effect..
lastly this was my last conversion to 6s for the racing session ahead.. no more 4s for me

That design is amazing! Where did you get the alloy plate machined?
i got it done with a dude in victora. im really happy as its my first machined part and my design worked perfectly
