Put together this little light quad from the surviving leftover bits of my M7 after I SMASHED it into a camera that was recording my speedruns. I think it was going pretty fast, the stock frame and canopy broke in several places and the FC will not work anymore. So ordered a replacement FC and transferred the camera/buzzer/power plug to make a new quad. I wanted a light/agile quad that uses the 65mm props.

Nice build and a very interesting collection of 3D printed parts. What material did you use for the frame? I am very curious to find out how the frame and nylon standoffs hold up. I would love an update after a couple of dozen crashes! Thanks a lot, great stuff! 👍

For the frame I used PLA, the red parts are TPU. I forgtot to include that in the description. Waiting for the weather to clear up to make the flight video. It either snowing, raining or too windy or all three here.

I am also interested in the 3d printed parts. Sergetania, I think the frame is this one https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3359505, from Alex Arvinte.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
