Of all the numerous builds over the past two years this one was a real challenge with 20mm standoffs and a raised mounting area. After many hours of sanding, filing, fitting, refitting the build was a master piece. Very satisfied with the way everything turned out. The frame is simply gorgeous with lots of attention to quality and detail. The only real gripe about this frame would be the limited height for the stack. Most micro builds have more room for stack hieght than what the Stingy V2 brings to the table. Just 2 more millimeters of height would of made a mountain of difference.
Nice build! just letting you know, the arms are supposed to go on under the bottom plate. this way you have the full 20mm standoff height for the stack. thats why you had such a hard time fitting everything in.
Thanks for letting me know. Got to looking at the pictures and yep all wrong. Spent most of the day redoing what I messed up. Now the prop line is 7mm lower CG is perfect all while gaining 7mm in stack space! What a revelation. Now when replacing the arms the screws are on the bottom easily accessible. Would like to let you know you made my day.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Okay,i just had surgery on friday. So i'm pretty high on some meds.
You posted a link to EFAW 2407R-2500kv motors. I followed the link and it's freaking real.
Someone managed to bring them back and are selling them. I heard people were trying to bring them back.
Here is what Brian S. over at OverpoweredFPV had to say about the EFAW motors as there were 3 revisions with this one being the last:
"I was running the USA warehouse for EFAW before the owner in Australia disappeared. The first batch was designed by Nick the owner of EFAW and made by Sumac. The magnets were coming loose from the bell housing on almost every single motor they gave us. And then Sumac tried to claim the design as their own. The T-Motor version has been a lot more durable. I sent a set of the new motors to Joshua Bardwell for his review and he never contacted me to see if they were still available, instead he clones them and puts his name one them. I've sent out a few hundred so far and I haven't had any complaints. If you do manage to get a defective motor, I will replace it as long as I still have them in stock". These motors are the, "bomb".
I was running the 2200kv variant for over a year until i had a bad crash and the motor windings nuked. My only regret was that i didnt buy more of them. JB was a fucking thief for stealing that design and going to Lumenier and stamping it as his own. I'm definately going to be buying 8 of these motors to run on my CG and RS+.
