his is the baby sister of my Floss 3 racer builds.
I scaled the Floss3 canopy down with Meshmixer to fit in the toothfairy frame and to use the 14mm micro cam.
I aimed the AUW to 250g, including the 850mah lipo. So far no luck, I have to shave over 10 grams off to get it under 250g with battery and strap (not in the pic).

Canopy and crash flip fin (keep in mind this is a proto and not crash tested!): https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3539626
VTX stack mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3490878
cap side mount: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3490861

But it came really pretty
I hope i can have a test flight soon!

Would you be so kind to share the stl (or any other format) of the canopy?

You could ditch the turtle mode fin, and it's metal hardware, and you could really slim down that vtx mount and the cap holder. That would likely get you those 10g

Where did you find your pink stack mount print? Or did you create yourself?

M490fpv   Mar 14, 2019

I quick draw and printed it myself, because I could not find any suitable mounts. Same thing with the cap mount.
As ChrisCro82 wrote above, the Unify Nano runs very hot, so I must check if this mounting solution is working or not...

Clean Build!
I'm using the Unify Pro32 on my 3" build. I'm amazed at how hot the little thing gets.

nah,i'm running it 400mw. I just had to keep somewhere close to props so it'd constantly get cooled down by the propwash.

Ah, OK! XD
I need to check that it doesn't melt the tpu stack mount. Thanks for sharing the info!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
