This is my custom painted (courtesy of Bobby Harman) Catalyst Machineworks Merica 3" that I recently finished building whom I have dubbed "Spitfire". I wanted to have a dedicated racing quad and decided to go with a 3". I love how it flies! I need to work on some minor tune issues but then it will be a force to be reckoned with!

did you print that canopy?

That canopy comes from Catalyst Machineworks and I had a buddy paint it.

How are those 14XX Hyperlites? I have been promising that I'm going to build a 3-4 with 'em... but I keep buying ever 22XX and 24XX I can catch a deal on. Last 14XX I built was HGLRC FD's and those... I love.

My only previous experience with 3" motors were the Brotherhobby T1 1407 3600s which I loved. Compared to those, the hyperlites are even better. Super smooth, notchy, and the sound is so damn cool! Totally worth it. Plus, matches my color scheme :)

And that is always a plus... I was not initially into the Hyperlite color scheme, but now that I am hip to them I haven't bought anything else (5 straight). In truth they could look like whatever as long as they fly as amazing as they do. Have you tried the HQ 3x4x3 V1S props yet? Pretty smooth and fast.
