XHover Driblet

Cool frame but a very tight build with little room for a VTX and RX. The only real option is to strap them on the frame above the FC.

Edit: Replaced the AKK Nano 3 with a RMRC Nano Cricket. It is a MUCH better fit for this tiny frame.

Saw you are using 650mAh batteries ... Not too heavy? How did it fly?

Dubbin1   Mar 27, 2019

They may be a bit on the heavy side but it does fly great with them. I do want to get some 450's to try out and see what they are like.

I am going to use my 450s. Shall know more on the weekend

In the middle of building mine, and yes its tight for components. Going to use new components with a BlHeli32 ESC and the Matek F7 FC which I am excited to see how it does.

I thought about using the Radix LI for a MultiGP micro but apparently 3S is the minimum voltage for that board, which would've thrown off the rest of my build. :\ How do those motors handle 3S?

They handle 3s with no problem.

This guide will walk you through the process of building your first FPV quad. The goal with this design was to build a low-cost, lightweight quad, yet powerful enough to safely carry a GoPro in close proximity areas. I chose these parts to minimize the amount of soldering at no cost to the quality. A typical build requires around 30 solders while this only needs 25. It's not a huge difference, but..

In late 2019 DJI made inroads into the FPV scene with their remarkable low-latency digital system. It gave us a 720p video feed with latency on-par with the status quo, analog video. Traditionally we've used analog video systems for low-latency video, but the video quality is far from ideal. It's a trade-off we've been willing to accept for the control. Now we've got the best of both worlds and what..
