This is quite simply a build made from a bunch of test, samples and pre-production parts laying around that I tried to put together in the most elegant way possible :)

DId you use the included 16mm screw for the stack? I can't get my stack to fit

Fractalengineer   Jun 24, 2019

Actually no I used 20mm long screws I had laying around; this way I can fit the ESC and FC on the same stack

Really nice Marmotte build, easily one of my favorites. I see you have nice clean video. The VTX appears to be in the tail end of the quad along with the receiver? I'm thinking of doing the same but was worried that mounting them near eachother might mess up the video feed...

Thanks man; yep Rx is ziptied right on top of the VTx; always done like that never been an issue

Good job sir! Love the idea of the hifi covering cable - looks really smart. Just bought the frame - thanks for the inspiration!

Amazing build, been waiting for someone to fo it right with the marmotte frame and you've done it. Have you have any esc noise in the camera?

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
