Choose your parts wisely because this is a tight build. I ran all of the wiring under the flight controller first, made sure everything was working correctly on the bench, and then I soldered all the ESC connections.
I made my own VTX antenna/receiver antenna mount. I also made a spacer to take up the gap on the back of the GoPro mount, and a set of camera mounts to move a full-size camera out farther in the frame. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3636740

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

please help im on my first build im using this same fc and reciever and i cannot get the thing to register my inputs what pad did you solder the reciever to? and what is your betaflight setup? the bars arent moving in my reciever tab and i cant figure it out!
So for a Spektrum SPM4648 receiver you should power it (orange) with the 3.3v pad, ground (black) to any negative pad, and signal (gray) to the pad labeled RX2. In Betaflight, on the ports tab, enable Serial RX on UART 2, also make sure you have the correct receiver in the configuration tab. You should set the receiver to SPEKSAT for receiver mode, and SPEKTRUM2048 for serial receiver provider. You'll also have to update the channel map on the receiver tab to TAER1234. Hope that helps!
