Introduction

This is 2nd build for freestyle frame which is called TransTEC Freedom V2 (5inch). According to the TracsTEC Spec. the upper shell is made by CNC 7075 Aviation Aluminium-alloy. The point of attraction is the arms thinkness which is 6 mm. It looks super soild.

Goal and Parts Selection

Recently, i have experienced bad flying with not enough strong statement. For example, the screw or nut or some parts(broken and cracked plate, arm) could generate some jello or vibration or noise. The goal of this quad was to build , a frame must be strong enough in machanical properties like as a frame of racing car.

Frame & Build Tip

All parts are not finished the edge of carbon by some poymer material. The edge has not cutted so i finished by my hand with sand paper.
The arm thickness is over 6mm. Actually, two of them are 6 mm and the other two of them are 6.2mm. I used 6.2mm arm for front arm. bottum plate is 3 mm. it super strong enough with arm. The screws are something is supplied 10.9 and 12.9 class. it's looking good. The space is not enough for parts so i recommed to use single ESC. but i haven't got the single ESC. I just used 4 in 1 ESC. My HD cam is Yi 4K and i desinged HD cam mount for Yi 4k which is fixed with 30 mm screw at the front rear is hold the cable tie.

Flight Test

I've tested all of default setting with butterflight firmware i haven't changed PID and filtering. It's super smooth and flying like a clean now. In the future, i'd like to record flight video wwith this quad. i really expected.

AUW(all-up weight) is 705 g with battery, propeller and action cam.

I'm going to record the drift car chasing video with this drone and the other one which is Puda D240 frame. It's also great frame.
