Hello,
here is my second Ultralight with a bear print frame. Finally with 20x20 hardware and 6S support.
Since I never had a GoPro on my old Druckbäer because change in weight by 1/3 and the flight characteristics change dramatically.
I wanted to try the runcam split this time. I was warned about the high leatency but wanted to try it.
I was very satisfied with the Hyperlite engines last time. That's why I like to come back to it.
The Talon F7 offers in the 20x20 format everything that is standard on the 30x30. That's why the final decision here is also easy.
A real highligt is the new ESC in the mini format of Airbot creates the 4x45A and also bring the F3 processor, incidentally, the 6S capability.
The rest is the current hardware from TBS as FPV transmitter and CRSF receiver.
With 200g for the copter, I am also very happy. The LiPo then beats again with 170g to book.
So that in the end 370g for the departing Copter are recorded.
Edit
So the Talon Flight Controller first had to give way to the Matek F722 Mini. The on the Talon did not activate the RPM filter. The support is informed.
Edit 2
Plasmatree tuning from the copter.
First flight after the tuning.
How do you like the 2204 1722 KV's?
I have the 2405.5 1722KV HV's, and on the HQ 5x4.8x1 V1S props it is very smooth and powerful (but honestly... those V1S are an unbelievable blade). I did not know that in a 24XX stator 'HV' means "You basically must use 6S!", and so my quad fell out of the air on 4S in a few turns, and felt very anemic on 5S; they are made for 6S (that's PD tellin' me). I distrusted a corner ESC and replaced it in the meantime. I now only suspect my battery voltage choice. Luckily I did just happen to have a new smaller 6S Turnigy Panther sitting around from a build that changed directions. Once I switched to 6S... no problems. I now have 2 low KV 6S Hyperlite quads and they are the jewels of my (freestyle) squadron. They feel like flying Cadillacs... big and powerful.
Hey and hello,
So I really like the 2204 1722 kv. They have power and are at the same time incredibly efficient. If you stay in the middle gas range, flight times of 8min are possible. Unbelievable, I wondered myself. The whole works of course only with 40 or 43er propeller pitch. And yes, I fly the little one with 6S. I have a similar build The Hyperlite 2204 2550kv @ 4S engines that can not compete. I can well imagine the 2405 or 07 Hypelite on Freestyle Coptern with GoPro and really fun.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

nice build. was the latency in the cam bad lime you heard?
Hello, So Runcam has released a total of 3 updates. With each, the image quality and latency were improved. There are of course better cams for full blood racers, but absolutely sufficient for freestyle, in my opinion.
thanks. I'd picked up a split micro, and then saw your comment
