I dig your creative antenna placement/attachment!
I wonder when people say that you have to tilt back a gps antenna, how many satellites does that pick up with the strap over it, and the foreward tilt?
Thx, I've used that style antenna placement/attachment on a few builds now. Works great.
Truth is the GPS is pointing every which way while I'm flying freestyle. I doubt the strap and the plastic casing of the GPS cause any reception interference. So long as it's mostly pointing towards the sky it eventually gets a lock. The GPS is only there to help find a lost drone. I coded the OpenTX Telemetry screen to display the last known GPS coordiantes even if the LiPo gets ejected.
