This is my first build. I tried to make it a budget build, but it ended up a bit more expensive then I planned.
So first of all I should explain the weired mix of budget and more than average quality parts. I faced the issue most new pilots face. Where's the sweet spot and what parts will I break. So in theory I thought the core of the multicopter is very well protected and the parts in there have a lower chance of getting destroyed in a crash. The outside parts like propellers, motors (and esc's in this case) seem to be more likely to break in case of a crash.
So I decided to buy higher quality parts for the somewhat well protected parts and the parts that break easily is stuff that doesn't hurt to replace over and over. Nontheless the quad flys excellent and I feel like it was a good choice.
PS: Motors are 2600 KV version. I also suggest to make the xt60 connector to come out from the side (like seen in Bardwells video). Seems to be much more durable than in the back.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
