I don't race so I'm not overly concerned with the weight of this build but it's still pretty light and will be fast with the 2207-2700kv motors and 4 or 5S.

I didn't like the looks of the included camera mount and antenna holder so I ended up drawing and printing my own. I'm very pleased with how everything came out.

Where did you mount the Rx? And, did you it looks like you mounted the ESC upside down?

Airmaxx23   Oct 25, 2019

The Rx is mounted to the bottom of the top plate and the ESC is right side up, the wires are just soldered to the bottom pads for a cleaner look.

Nice! Thanks. Good looking build you have there. Do you still fly it? Often?

2207-2700kv on 5S!!??! That thing would be a rocket!

Yes sir, I use high kv motors and 5S on most of my builds. I really only use full throttle in small bursts and everything stays cool.

I mean really... for a standard arrangement this is certainly as clean as it gets, no? I bet those motors smoke (good way)... I've wanted to try 'em for ages.

I don't think it could be any cleaner, maybe a little lighter using a different VTx but I really like the Rush Tank. I've used the same motors on a few different builds and they are screamers on 5S.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
