This was a really challenging build for me and it just barely came in at under 250 grams. Layout was difficult and required that the ESC and camera board be mounted in the front, with the Rx, Flight controller, and VTX mounted in the back. Originally i wanted to use a Foxeer Lollipop antenna but it was 10 grams heavier than the antenna included with the vtx. Included hardware with the Caddx Tarsier was awful and required use of the hardware that came with the HGLRC stack. If i was building this again i would choose smaller motors like a 1407 as the 1606 motors are really amp hungry and the Caddx Tarsier already draws alot.

edit: changed the motors and it flies much better. longer flight times and better performance.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
