I built this Rooster as a replacement for my last rooster that now lives in the bottom of a lake. Goals for this build were to build my first 6S drone, with a crossfire receiver for midrange flight, and to have a working GPS return to home function and failsafe.
In general the build was quite straightforward with only a few hitches. The Crossfire receiver mount that sits in the rear required a slight redesign to accomodate the antenna placement, and the VTX platform was designed to fit most VTXs using sticky tape and a zip tie. In the future when i get a longer immortal T antenna i will likely change the antenna placement to the rear on a vertical mount.

It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

why did you go with the 6 inch instead of 5?
6 inch allows for 6 inch Bi-blade props for longer flight times. also the longer arms provide a smoother feel even with 5 inch props.
