there is a lot of weight to be saved replacing the mmcx vtx/mmcx to sma adapter/longrange antenna with a lighter 800mw vtx + ufl antenna. sub 300g would be possible.

there is still a lot of potential. go for a light 14x14 cam, like the nano racer ~4g, instead of a ~8g micro eagle/ratel. my vtx (9g)/antenna(11g)/mmcx-sma adapter(3,5g) are pretty heavy. a simple 5g 800mw vtx and a 2-3g ufl antenna would reduce weight by ~20g. also the new upcoming runcam split 3 nano will be a few grams lighter than the turtel v2. and maybe it has a good enough fpv picture to get rid of the second cam alltogether.

Great Job! I'm currently working on a similar project and hoping to have it finished by the end of the week! I'm using a little beefier motors though - Hyphylite 2408.5 1622kv for 7" on 6S. Also using a WhitenoiseFPV Synergy F4 with Crossfire Nano and a TBS Unify. I don't think with those porky motors I'll be able to get it under 300g (40g per motor)... Â I'm looking forward to seeing photos with the canopy.
