how did you power the split mini!?

I used the VTX pads. The guts came from the BetaFPV 65X and I just removed the internal camera and soldered up the wires from the split.

and it supplies it with enough power?

Yep. Powers it no problem. Thought about switching to the iFlight board with VTX. Have the parts just need the time to test. Then I could connect up the camera control.
