This build is heavily inspired by the Catalyst MachineWorks prebuilt racing quad. Everything went smooth and easy once the orientation of stack components was decided.

Notes in random order

  • Props out configuration to help recover from hitting gates
  • FC turned by 180 degrees. Normal position cannot fit in the frame.
  • ESC turned by 90 degrees. This allows to use the short length connector to FC but the pigtail and capacitor are now sideways.
  • FPV Antenna recycled from a speedybee TX500
  • Motors were reassigned using resource function in Betaflight client
  • ESC direction was reversed for 2 motors
  • The correct price for the build is 250$
