this frame is much closer to the final product.
much much easier to build, slightly lighter and more robust.

I love how this flies. Smooth and well balanced.

The Runcam Nano 2 died on me so there is a Caddx Eos 2 temporarily in it's place.

If you're wondering how the nano 2 died, there was a break in the glued in harness so when I dug away the glue and desoldered the cable, unfortunately the video line's pad got lifted.

Tried out the HQ prop 65mm push on bi-blades - they are smooth! quieter than the kk65

Would it be possible to get one of these frames? (even if they are still in development)

very nicely designed frame, i like it! :)
Did you put something to dampen vibrations from the frame to the camera? do you get any jellow after some crashes?

Thanks, kudos to Karl. This is definitely a sample of his finest work.
The camera is mounted on TPU printed material so in a way there is some isolation. I have only put in 3 packs and haven't crashed it hard yet but some other testers haven't had issues with vibration coming in as jello. The KK65 props are generally well balanced. Add a decent motor (avoid happymodel) and you should be jello free. Although I live in London where I fly mostly in an overcast setting

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
