I've been wanting to build nearly identical race quads for some time. I wanted to do this for the following reasons:
UPDATE 1/30/17 - Since my budget is blown at the moment - I'm using some older ZMX 2205 motors until I can afford multiple new sets. Since this is meant as a lighter weight race quad, I'm considering either EMAX RS2205s 2600v, Hyperlite V4 2500kvs, or the T-Motor F40Pro... Maiden flight went well considering it was a stock tune using the HGLRC F3 V4 AIO Flight controller. After modifying some of the OSD settings, I plugged in battery #3 and poof the fight controller went up in smoke. Needless to say I was disappointed with the HGLRC F3 V4 board. Swapping to the RTFQ F3 Omnibus and gonna try the Diatone SP2 VTX. It's a little more weight but I REALLY like having easy access to the VTX, makes changes super simple. I'm totally SOLD on the ReadyToFlyQuads OMNIBUS AIO flight controller. The MPU6000 over SPI works great, SUPER easy OSD config and you just can't beat it for $22.
UPDATE 4/25/2017 - Finally got around to settling on some motors - went with the PiroFlipRC Hyperlite V4 2206 2300kv. Went with the lower kv based for a couple reasons - I wanted to run more aggressive props and not absolutely CRUSH batteries.

Really digging this build, im gonna be doing one myself pretty soon with this frame, do you have the files/links for the 3d printed parts that you used?
I like them a lot more than whats sold on the website, and that fpv cam mount will definitely come in handy since im doing a 3 card stack too.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Great looking builds. I'm building one now and wanted to know what kind of flight time you get with the hyperlite motors over the 2205 you were using. Do you like the 2206 better? Im stuck between emax 2205 2300kv and the hyperlite 2206 2300kv.
The Emax 2205 is a great motor, but is aging. The Hyperlite R4 2206 is one of my favorite motors. Loads of power and easy on the packs (2300kv). Flying easy - I've been able to get over 8 minute flights using a 4S 1550mah.
