Brushless TinyWhoop Mid 2019

Pretty basic Brushless TinyWhoop, with Project Mockingbird settings. Not quite done yet (Canopy missing, would like to reroute cables/antenna)

It flies great but it has a problem: at seemingly random time intervals (average about every second battery) and random range (3m - 15m) i had the motors stopping on me during flight for no apparent reason. Battery is often not even close to empty. I don't have a OSD since i didn't bother hooking the cam to the FC and back to the VTX, i'm not sure if Betaflight got any reason for me.
The weird thing is that it doesn't seem to be a failsave, since the motors start again automatically after a second or two. It's just barely enough time that the Whoops hits the ground falling from chest height until the motors spin back up. I don't even need to rearm or put the throttle down first, they just go back to normal flight immediately.
If anyone got any idea what this could be please message me.

Ive had weirdness with my whoops on betaflight 4.x. I have found that i cannot copy and paste configs that I might have saved. for them to work i had to wipe out the config and set it up in betaflight using the GUI only. (my whoops are almost exactly the same as yours) I have blown out 3 of the Crazybee typically on low battery, the regulators burn. Take care Holmes

What do you mean they burn? They actually catch fire if they get too hot? Thanks for the advice.

no fire, they just get hot and crack. I have been looking for a good 1S brushless flight controller to change to, but havent found one I like more than the crazybee yet.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
