At 240g AUW (with battery), this rips as a 3s 5 inch quad. Everything runs cool and is very responsive while maintaining impressive efficiency at almost 6 minute flights (without vtx). Can definitely cut weight in some spots!

Note: Pictures are without the VTX as I shorted it with a screw (Lucky me) and will upload full pictures and post flight times when I get the new VTX.

Update: Flew with a 3s 650mah gnb, just under 5 minutes flight time, a little harder than I pushed it on its maiden voyage (not great with line of sight flying). Check out my first attempt at recording a line of sight flight (missed almost every flip and loop, but you can see the shadow of the flips and loops!)

Enjoy!

I was worried about the combination at first, but the aggressive props do well with the lower kv with the 3s, I flew it on a 4s 850mah tattu but it felt sluggish and less responsive but did get higher top speeds with higher motor temps as a side effect. In all, much more fun on the 3s!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
