5 Years ago i built my first drone, it was an F450 frame with DJI Naza M lite GPS... I did not manage to put it to fly.
After lots of hours lost on trying to discover what was wrong and correct it.. i just couldn't fly.
So i QUIT!
A few months ago i saw UAV FUTURES video on how to build a 6s 115Mph Quad.. and i thought... Well, it's time to try again!
I went for Granger's build, because it looked a bit more fancy.
I ordered almost all of the components from Banggood, and everything arrived with no issues. Some came from Ebay, others from HobbyKing.
I already had the Spektrum Radio, so it was one less cost. and i was going for the Skyzone's goggles, but since i did not have to spend money on the radio, i just went Fatshark HDO.
The Build was easy to mount, and got it to fly when i first armed it.
I'm basicly learning from scratch how to Fly, and hope i can get some good videos for you guys to watch!
The quad looks good, but learning to fly with a 5" ?!....Hope it's going well.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I know this is a little bit of an older post, but with the runcam swift 3 v2, how were you able to get it to mount on the Flywoo vampire frame? I have the frame and same camera, but they won't properly fit together( screws are too short and there is a gap that isn't big enough for the adapter that came with the camera). Otherwise your build looked beautiful.
I have exactly the same problem, swift3 v2 doesnt fit
I guess we need longer screws and spacers?
have you resolved this problem?
Yeah, I had to use 2 spacers on each side and longer 2m screws, I went with 2x6mm screws and they fit perfectly.
Great thanks a million i will try the same, problem is i dont have shops with these kind of screws around me :/
No hobby shops or a home depot? You could also order them online from Amazon or some other store.
