Got rid of my Acrobrat and jumped on the Toothpick bandwagon. The Primo from GnarlyFPV is, imho, by far the best toothpick frame (if you don't wat to run 3 inch props). NamelessRC FC/ESC and the Amax motors (4-hole version) were locally available, so i went for them. At first i mounted the Unify Pro32 on the back of the Runcam Nano2, which appeared to be to close to the Crossfire RX. I was having multiple horizontal static bands in the fpv feed. After mounting both the VTX and the RX to the FC as far away from each other as possible those video issues went away.
After a few succesfull flights on Betaflight 4.0, i decided to go 4.1 RC1 and purchase joelucid's JESC (https://jflight.net) to enable RPM filtering on these BLHELI_S ESCs. So far the results are excellent. I am running 3 brand new perfect super smooth motors and one that has a severly damaged bell and makes weird noises, but there is no influence to the flight performance/smoothness visible.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
