Project399:Practice Rig

This is Jordan's Practice Rig that he uses as a stand-in for his Racer4 on while practicing for DRL.
We had been bugging Jordan to release this publicly for a while and it's finally available!

It's running the usual BrainFPV Radix FC and Hobbywing 60A stack with TBS Crossfire Nano for control link. Video is a TBS Pro32 VTX with Runcam Eagle Micro for that crispy low light CMOS goodness. Motors are BrotherHobby Avenger 2507 1500kv. My first time running them. We'll see how they do between somber 4s and silly 6s.
Props are HQ 7X4X3.

What can I say - This thing is a tank.

It's basically running the BF 4.1 community PIDS for 7" https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/wiki/Community-Presets#67-quads although with my rates

why is a tank needed to train for drl, simply because the fly tanky settup like this? or are there benefits in flydynamics about big 2507...

Jordan made this to give him something to bash about while practicing for DRL. The explanation I heard was that this setup mimicked the Racer4 but he could crash it more during his own practice sessions.

I wonder why you have not used Avenger 2510 motors. KV, maybe? Looks like lot of space, so nice and easy to build, right?

I was intending on going with 2510 but really didn't feel like giving Banggood my money. Space-wise tip to tail this is the same size as the SuperG although the practice rig is wider.
