Printed in PLA.
Pod is TPU.
Both generic Ebay spools.

Using a remix of Dave's frame. Beefier motor mounts. The Acromob creator is who did the remix.

Tips on printing PLA frames:

  • Turn off the parts cooling fan. Slightly worse looking print, but far better layer adhesion.
  • Print at .12mm layer height on .4mm nozzle. Increases strength by about 20% over .2mm layer height.
  • After CNC kitchen did some tests, and through my own trial and error. If you do the two above things Annealing/baking PLA is more hassle than it is worth.

Using TinyTempest pod and bottom plate from thunkar on thingiverse.

89 grams with 2s 450mah.

Had to increase scale of all parts in Cura to 110% on the front to back axis only to clear battery on top. Bottom plate scaled up 300% on Z axis aswell.

Flies great on Emuflight. 3 minutes of freestyle flying.
