Ript Kwads Lindworm, She was fun while she lasted.
My first build quad.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

I think it's interesting that you took out those standoffs to fit your vtx better (if that's not why, i'd love to know why). How are you attaching the vtx in the frame? 2xstick tape?
I dig that frame, the ziptie accomodation on the arms, the the way the arms curve around to provide protection instead of pandering to the need to gain more thrust (from something that inherantly has too much thrust, in the essence of its design and purpose). I assume you didn't design it, but I wish it was available, i'd buy one too. I didn't really know how good it was when I saw it back in the day when it was new. I've scrutinized so many frames since then, and I like it more now. It always looked good to me, but I questioned the width of the arms (in the locations where they meet the body). Now I see the wisdom. I'm sure it's still fast... and it doesn't break. That's what I need. How much does she weigh?
