There are some good li-ion pack build videos on you tube. If you are a good solderer, you can solder the cells togehter. But it is recommended to spot weld the cells with pure nickel strips with a spot welder from amazon. Watch reviews on spot welders. There is lot's of junk welders. Soldering cells can damage the cells if it takes too long to make a connection. It's a bit of a hassle to make your first li-ion pack, but once you try it, it's hard to go back to lipos if you are into long range flying. The flight times are amazing. I haven't looked at my lipos in over a year now. Of course, for freestyle and racing, lipos are still much better as thye can deliver more current. Li-ion cells are perfectly suited for long range adventurers, especially the Molicell 21700 4200mah 45A ones.

No, it can only deliver 7 Amps. Should be at least a 30 Amp pack. That's why many built their own packs. There aren't many good high drain li-ion packs available, yet.

There are also a lot of fake Samsung and other name brand cells for sale on these sites, especially ebay and chinese sites that don't even have half the claimed capacity and load rating.

This is a very good pack. You can fly Li-Ion cells down to 3V per cell/18V for the entire pack. Some say 2.6V is fine, but it will shorten the lifespan of the battery. If your charger has a Li-Ion charging program, select it. If not, use the Lipo program until you have a charger with a dedicated Li-Ion program. The Li-Ion program charges only to 4.1V per cell as it is easier on Li-Ion cells.
