Saw the RDQ source one 7in, decided it was worth a shot at $30.
Flies well, getting a lot of jello with the Runcam5, will need some tuning. GPS showed the max distance from home to be 2800ft, cruising speed was about 45mph.
how are you liking the f3 45a esc has it held up worth the extra cash. Sony VTC6 liion 6s is pretty awesome did it on 5" and was able to do hard acro 5minutes before sag or cruise 12km in 12minutes I bet it would only be better on your build!
Bit slow at start-up, but it's been solid. Had about 2 dozen flights on this build before selling it. I had no issues, and even did a few freestlye flights with it. Planning another 7" build (with bigger motors), and if the price was right, I would definitely go with the same stack.
Nope. I'm concerned that the amp draw would be too high compared to the thrust generated at the lower voltage. I have ordered some li ion cells. Going to build a 5000mah 5S pack for longer range flights.
