I got the cherrycraft staccato frame, and I wanted to swap the parts from my white wizard build over to this frame & add new motors. But after I saw that the esc's didn't fit on the arms, I decided to build a completely new quad.

I started with putting one layer off isolation tape over all frame parts that slide together. This to give it even less play and make the whole thing more rigid.

Then i noticed that the motor plates on the arms can only be mounted one way, otherwise the rods in between the arms don't fit. After the frame was put together i installed the motors & leds on the inside of the arms, so it doesn't get destroyed when the props hit it.
Tip: make sure that the middle cable is a little longer due to the solder pads offset

Then i installed the camera in the 3d printed mount.
Tip: First poke the holes open in the 3d printed mount, then install the camera before mounting it in the frame. Otherwise it is very hard to get the 2 screws in.

With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
