Super lightweight 2inch quadx.

Hi everyone, my name is Sokrat and I love fpv. I started this hobby around 4 years ago with fpv wings, but last year I started to build quads.
This build is about a light weight, small and very fast quad. I tried to use the lightest components I could think. The weight of the quad without a battery is 38 grams. With a 450 2S tattu battery is 67 grams. This quad is beginner friendly (use high expo and 15' camera angle) and a lot of fun for advanced pilots.

I will write all the parts in the list. You can fly this quad as you like. You can go crazy 80%-100% throttle for (4 minutes max) or cruise around in tight spaces with 20% throttle (8min max). Its very hard to break this quad due to its weight. You will need to have a lot of props because they are easy to bend.

-I attached the camera with tape to reduce weight even more, so its not the best looking quad (but i don't think its ugly neither).
-Used a betaflight 1-2s flight controller with a build in frsky receiver to keep weight down (4.5g). But you can use a separate receiver with the same board as it can be ordered without the rx. I made this choice because I will fly this quad close to me, so i don't care about range. I have flown it in different environments and I never had a break up.
-I recommend using a 450mah battery to reduce voltage sagg, but you can use a lighter one to go crazy fast.

Let me know if you like it. Happy holidays!

Hello, the antenna is soldered in the flight controller. Its just a piece of copper wire that its soldered in the flight controller; the receiver is integrated in the FC. This saves some extra grams. The flights controller is from BETA FPV, check it in the link above.

What Betaflight version are you using? Can you share your PIDS? I have a very similar setup. Thanks.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
