Build followed almost part for part with the RotorBuilds TBS 6S guide on this site.

Watch that youtube video found in the guide a few times, read through the step by step build guide and its an easy 1 day build, even as your first build.
The trickiest part which still wasn't even bad, was the configuration on betflight, making sure each motor spins the right way type stuff but again, following the step by step guide from here it was up and flying incredibly first try. I still have not touched the PIDs at all, so if I am really ripping I can get some noticeable prop wash when catching a dive or turning super sharp, but ~20-25 packs in so far and its a beast that can take a beating. I did choose to add a Vifly lost drone buzzer which I highly recommend. Nothing complex at all just 3 wires to a 5v, ground, and buzz pads and it is INFINITELY louder than the buzzer that comes as part of the stack. Makes locating it in tall grass, anywhere out of sight so easy and its under $15, cannot recommend it enough.
Maiden flight did not have the GoPro mount on, and surprisingly almost no noticeable difference once it was on with the GoPro. Another part I chose to add to this was the Brain3D TBS SourceOne GoPro 7 mount at 30 degrees, can't recommend that enough either. Initially started with Lumenier Micro AXII Shorty but that wasn't very durable so currently on a stubby 3 lobe Omnivison that does great video but will have to see durability. The Gemfan Windancer 5043 has so far been my favorite prop to fly.
Over all incredible experience and drone, an inexpensive first build I would suggest anyone do to get their foot in the door with FPV and start really learning more. Super fun, fast, responsive, and durable.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..
Read moreWith the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
