Took my sweet time building this little Tadpole.
Had an issue with Whoop adapter in that the flywoo AIO usb port doesnt quite fit. ended up filing away a small portion of the adapter plate to make it work. Really enjoyed this build but next time with something this small i will go with a 16x16 stack. build completed on Jun 3. short test hover and will maiden on the next calm day.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

hey welcome to the rotorbuild tadpole club :)
I hope you will like it... when I tried 1103 first it felt undepowered for outdoor but perfect for indoors
16mm is super easy to build but you run into having the battery strap transmitting vibrations to the stack.
Thanks! I did have a short hop in the backyard and did notice it struggle a bit when it got into the wind. I'll probably look at upgrading the motors to a 1204 this winter after I get some more stick time with the frame. Cheers for letting me know about the potential issues with a 16mm stack maybe sticking with a whoop AIO is best for my needs.
