How is she flying with that LUX? Those are notorious for causing problems
No problems with the Flight Controller so far. It's been solid, and predicable with no bad habits to speak of. After some minor pid tuning, mostly for slow wobbles in GPS Hold mode, So far i'm liking it. Seems solid to me. This is the first i've heard about the reputation these FCs have. Will be paying closer attention to it now though. Thanks for a heads up.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. I have that same frame, how did you configure the motors? I gave up and mounted them right side up for my sanity.
I just made sure the the props spin the way Betaflight/ and INAV wanted them to spin at default (Props In). The motors in the rear maybe be facing down but all four props face up and spin normally. So in a way the motor orientation is irrelevant, just make sure the props are doing what you want. you Just have to reverse the direction on a motor or two in BLheli if needed. I hope this photo may help.
