I finally got around to building this quad the way I wanted it. You can check out my original build here https://rotorbuilds.com/build/21036. I upgraded from analog to HD and its absolutely amazing! The frame perfectly fits the air unit and a 1500mah 4s battery. I also got a 3D printer last month and luckily the people over at Flynoceros have uploaded all the TPU parts to Thingiverse :D I printed all the parts in Matter Hackers Purple TPU and have created two custom parts. The first one is the hood, I made a remix by merging it and an immortal T mount made by UltiBots on Thingiverse and the second is just a simple battery pad I modeled to give the battery a flat surface to sit on. The Zurple Gemfam 3D props are the last thing I added and they really brought the whole build together. I'll try to remember to get some DVR footage next time I fly for anyone thats interested.
heres just some dvr from the goggles, the camera vibration was from the camera mount bracket being loose.
Most spensive 5" build i've ever seen
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I think you hit on the right application of this frame. Low camera angle, 3D!! I love the frame design (price is steep, though). I'm looking to do something similar (even 3D setup, but with analog video). How are the motors/ESCs holding up to the direction changes? Also, so cool to see the props change direction in flight!!
3D is a blast, once i tried it i havent switched back, i deffinitly recommend everyone try it :) so far i havent had any issues, i know the motors can handle it no problem because i use the same ones on my armattan badger that's my daily basher. The esc's i dont know about lol i dont have the osd set up because i didnt have any spare uarts so i cant see amp draw but i bet it gets pretty high, its deffinitly a heavy quad :p
