6S Racing Drone Prototype
My goal AUW was 300g without battery. It's coming in at 320g currently which is really quite disappointing :( it's a pig in terms of weight so let's see how it flies once my country gets out of lockdown and ripping 5" quads becomes legal again! Flight footage coming shortly!
Update 18/4/20: Removed 3D printed shark fin to save weight, added props and VTX Antenna
Update 21/3/20: Added 3D printed shark fin, finished soldering camera, VTX and RX to FC

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! which KV motors did you go with?
1800kv, because it's easier to go with a slightly higher kv then apply a throttle scale later! :D
nice. i was wondering bc i am building something very similar. i also did the 1800kv for 6
What's your AUW? I was happy with everything in this build except the weight, it is sooo heavy... :(
my AUW without Batt. is right around 350g.
Just like mine, good weight for freestyle, not so much racing :(
haha. yeah It looks like it might be alittle hard to get these bad boys down in weight but its a good challenge. I think you are in the right direction for sure awesome build.
Thanks for the encouragement, cutting weight indeed is hard :D I'm changing from 30x30 to 20x20 as one way to cut weight!
