TBS Flyspeck 110

This is a TBS/Lil Deuce collaboration frame.
Picked up this used build for a song...so technically not my build but I have taken it apart and put it back together.
3" props fit perfectly on this frame. Too bad the frame is cut cross grain so it is really flexible. I believe the original Lil' Deuce is cut a long the grain which would makes a significant difference at such sizes.
What is really interesting is TBS 5g8 Micro antenna that sticks onto it's designated spot on the canopy. They should have also made a spot for a crossfire race antenna!
Just like previous two other runcam nano 2 cameras, this one worked for about 5 minutes on the bench when I was setting it up and then it died. Has anyone else experienced this? I previously thought maybe my FC was outputing more than 5v but I checked it wasn't. That means out of the 4 nano 2s that Ive owned, only one is working normally. That's pretty bad QC. Two were ordered at once and then another two completely separate times.
Now I have caddx eos 2 4:3 in there...let's hope there are not specks on the sensor :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

i would message tbs as the first run had a pad issue and you may have not been told that about the swapped pads when you got it.

Hey man, how do you wire up the smart audio on the tbs mounting board? I am sure i have it correctly setup or something is broken. I love this little build and mine flies great but I am stumped with the smart audio.

yeah, the solders straight up with a solder blob bridge from the nano to the mounting board, except I ran crossfire instead of smart audio which requires both ch3 & ch4 whereas smart audio you only need one of them.

Im gonna have to invest in crossfire, once Tango 2s are more avalible I will take the plunge. is it the rectangular pad with SA that i use? near the VTX or one of the pads on the arms?

sucks about the luck with the nano 2. only qc problem ive had was the lens on one came apart while trying to focus the darn thing. next nano cam i plan on going with is the predator v4. going with the micro size instead of the nano as my canopy allows it (running a hx115 frame and twig xl canopy)
