This is my first time posting a build, but not my first time building. Up until now,I had only flown quads with the battery on the bottom. Lately I've been flying a very lightweight racer(Mode 2 Ghost),so I wanted to try a top mount freestyle. I've been sitting on this frame for quite some time and finally got around to building it...it's already a bit dated, but I think they still sell them. It's also my first time trying 2207 motors. Test flew it today. My first impressions are that it seems very easy to control and a bit slow at the lower end of the throttle. It's very fun to fly and handles nicely, but it's not very efficient. It seemed a little jittery on stock BetaFlight 4.0 tune. Could be because it was pretty windy, but I need to learn how to tune to see if I can make it smoother. Flew several packs and had a blast, but then I had an unexpected rx loss. Nothing broken, but after reviewing the dvr,I cannot see a reason for the rx loss,so I'm not sure what happened. I also seem to be having a weird color issue with the Runcam. Reddish dirt roads turn very pink. Other colors look normal enough. If anyone has encountered this problem before, let me know.

Here's a brief clip from my dvr to show how it flies. Very windy day.....

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
