So let me just go through a few of the choices I made when doing this build.

Frame - The Ledroneclub Pickle3 is a very light frame, lighter than all its contenders including KababFPV's TP3 and Dave_C_FPV's Sanchez. The Sanchez Air might be lighter but it is a bit too flimsy for these large and hefty motors.
Motors - RCX 1304 5000kv motors are known for their efficiency and power on 3S, I was able to get them at an insane price of $28 for 4 motors with free shipping. The wide stator (good control) and good QC made it pretty much a no-brainer decision.
Stack - GEPRC, iFlight and Diatone all make a pretty good 16x16 stack. The reason I chose GEPRC is because I got the stack on a sale at $40 and of the three companies, GEPRC seems to have the best reliability. Also love the 3 pin plug for the camera, cuz screw soldering :D

AUW: ~125g with a GNB 450mah 3S, a little heavier with GNB 550mah 3S, both fly amazing. Power for days and punch to the moon! Hang time is pretty good and flight time is even better. 550mah 3S gives a little over 4.5 minutes of pretty intense ripping.

RCX makes great motors. I've had great luck with mine. Like the build a lot. Where'd you find the RCX 1304?

Yeah I love them to bits. Got them from the MyRCMart website at a terrific price, it was US$7 per motor with free shipping!!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
