I built this with one thing in mind, going light and fast. This toothpick 5" quad came to life back before toothpicks where a thing. I have always liked frames like this. And this is one of the fastest quads I have ever built. For sure the most mobile quad.

This iFlight lightweight frame only weighs 50 grams. Fortunately, putting a quad together with the airbot F7 FC, and airbot tycoon 4 in 1, makes it significantly simpler to build. Big, easy to read solder pads, and the 8 pin connection harness make the airbot f7 fc and esc my favorite to build with. The best quality and combination of parts I could build think of while staying with analog 5.8 ghz video.

That's the whole stack, then for some range there is the TBS unify pro and r9m mini receiver, just barely shoehorned underneath the esc. I could have put the receiver out on the arm, but the SMA connection for the video transmitter is where it is, no where else to put an antenna lol.. 51499 gemfan props, 2306 2600kv motors and foxeer full size FPV camera round this thing off.

This thing hauls major ass. I have broken the frame by the time you read this.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
