I am big fan of the Lil' Bandito frame from KwadKarl, so this time I built a fun little backyard cruiser. Fast enough for my skills and easy to carry around with batteries and a charger. Build comes in at 33.2 grams with a rubber band battery holder.
First time using BT2.0 connectors. Cannot feel any difference, even with 20 gauge wires (same AWG as the GNB450HVs) compared to solid pin PH2.0s. Flight time is 2,5-3,5 minutes on 48kHz ESC firmware.
The C01 camera is good for this kind of use, even though there are ligther options.
The motors are the 14 000kv version.
Could shave off another gram or two by using a Runcam Nano 3, Mobula6 FC and RENY hardware.
I was struggling with BF4.1.1 performance edition firmware tuning. Would be nice to have RPM filtering but downgrading to 3.5.7 feels crisp enough.

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
