Re-re-rebuilt my TP3, adding dvr, upgrading to predator nano camera, and finally settled on a canopy. Ordered a slightly different one from Phoenix 3D to fit the longer predator lens but it has not arrived yet so using the normal one for now. I would like to put in on a slight diet and shave off 2 grams.

I like your build. Do you have any flight footage?

I'm considering using these motors with the same frame. My only worry is how quiet/safe this one is? I'm trying to build something really stealth/quiet so i can fly without disturbing my neighbors, and not so dangerous that I could cut someone up with it on 2s lol.

In my opinion its safer than most but you definitely dont want to hit anyone with it, it will still cut them but light years safer than a 5" no comparison there. I would let someone hit me 10x with a TP3 before getting hit 1x with a 5". What I personally do is fly whoops and powerwhoops around my house and property because of kids and dogs playing. Other than one hair tangle on my 4 yr old (lesson learned there) no incidents and no complaints from neighbours. A powerwhoop like Mr. Shutterbugs is ideal for a quiet and truly safe option and flies outside better than you would think.

For the TP3 I fly it at soccer fields parks etc when people arent very close and its small and quiet enough that I've never had anyone complain. I think thats its perfect environment. These days its also perfect for ripping around empty spots that are normally busy like mall areas etc. Surprising how many cool spots are accessible right now!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
