Flight time of this quad is about 18 minutes of cruising with a homemade 4S 4200mah Molicel 21700 Li-ion pack. I trimmed this 5 incher towards long range flying. Hand tuned and high up above the frame RX antenna gives excellent range and signal consistency. No GPS on this build since RC and video link are solid. No physical compass needed either as I use the Z axis accelerometer as my compass. Works similar to an INS (internal navigation system) in airliners. Much less problematic than a real compass. No calibration needed and no magnetic interferences. Drift can be completely neglected. No noticeable drift on a 18min flight. Simply turn on your accelerometers in BF and select the compass element in the OSD menu. Align the nose of the quad to North with your compass app on your phone before you plug in the quad. You can put North into every direction you want for easier navigation. Set North to your general flight direction. On your way home, you simply fly a South heading.

2305 motors and props are the discontinued DJI snail system. Bought a punch of them on sale for $5 each. Set of four props was only 50 cents. Very efficient motor prop combo.
