I built this quad for cinematic footage; nice and slow flights. I love the TPU on the ducts. They can take bumping into things a little better in my opinion. It's not as heavy as I thought it would be, but It is a little larger then the average cinewhoop build and a tad bit heavier. Total weight with battery and GoPro hero 7 black on is right at 657grams. It will hold a full size 4s Li-po, and at 1500mah 120c. So, I will get around 5-6 minutes of flight time? With the crossfire and unify pro32 VTX I should be able to get through structures with ease and not failsafe or loose video feed. (That is the hopes at least...lol). I did the standard hover test after upgrading the FC to BF 4.1.6, and with stock settings, it hovers like a dream! Almost could take my fingers off the throttle and let it sit there and do its thing. However, I will be doing some fine tuning, and when I have it perfected, I will post screen shots of the PIDs, Rates, and Filter settings in the photos below...
This has been a fun build and One of the nicest whoops I have seen. If you are interested in one of these Splash builds, click the Facebook link above and tell him FlipMasters FPV sent ya! Cheers!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
