***UPDATE 2/2/17 - Motors installed, we're in business. Can't wait to fly this baby!
My current 140mm build, since I still don't have any brushless motor multirotor builds under 180mm. So far the Sigan X140 is definitely a tough build, very small and compact, with little room for wires. ***Still waiting for the motors to come, but it's looking good.
Rocking the RunCam Swift 2 with a 2.5mm 150 degree FOV, loving this camera cause of the built-in voltage sensor and microphone.
What do you guys think about my motor selection, RCX 1407 3200KV, enough power? Also what batteries do you guys recommend, 3S, 4S, at 1000mah or 850mah?
Thanks!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

I'm thinking about using that same FC. How are you liking it?
So far, the Furious FPV Radiance FC has been working out great. Love the solder pad layout, it works well with my tight builds. As for reliability, I've crashed it multiple times, and it hasn't failed yet. I haven't tested out the latest Betaflight 3.1 release, still on 3.0 but will do so when I get ESCs that support DSHOT.
Good to hear. Does this FC support the smart audio to connect to the unify? I've never used a unify and I'm considering it for my next build with this fc.
I don't know for sure, but after reviewing Joshua Bardwell's video:
You just need to have a spare UART and Betaflight 3.1 installed. I know for a fact that the Furious FPV Radiance uses the PIKOBLX hex which is listed on the site as supported by Betaflight 3.1: https://github.com/betaflight/betaflight/releases
I'll see if I can test it out this weekend. I'll keep you posted.... :)
Yup it looks like it does. Thanks for that information! I actually went with an omnibus f3 for the OSD and transponder system. I was hoping the new Betaflight F3 supported IR but I guess it doesn't.
