A lot has happened since I started this build. You can see in the image gallery different variations of this MRM Micro Scythe 130mm frame. I will go over the different versions starting with the oldest pictures at the bottom of the image gallery.
Version 1
The first problem was the used electronics I purchased RCG (RC Groups), one of the ESC was bad. Then I tried using the Micro 600TVL Wide Angle FPV Camera w/ Mic CC1563 that this frame was designed to use but I did not like how a large portion of the camera view was blocked by the props. To make matters worse, I was using black props too. So, I think clear props might of helped. This should be the lightest version because of the smaller camera and mount. At the time I only had a 600mw cricket VTX but that was only temporary.
Version 2
To solve my problem with the prop in view of my FPV camera I went with a POD style mount and Runcam 2. The quickest and cheapest thing to do is 3D print a pod. I did a quick search on thingiverse and found a perfect setup. This new setup added a little more weight but it still flew great. Without the battery it weighs in at 187g.
Version 3
Like always, I like to upgrade things and that is exactly what I did. Other than the FC I switch everything out. New motors, Camera, VTX, Antennam PDB, 4 in 1 ESC and camera Pod. With this new setup it weighs 174g. The newer and lighter pod was taken from a QAV ULX clone. Its basically 4 standoff and a carbon fiber plate on top. If you want the side carbon fiber plates you just use some zip ties to secure it.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

So the FPV pod you made. Hows it holding up and what material was it printed in?
Sorry for the last response, I did not see this message until now. I printed it with PLA. Here is a link for more detail on the print: http://www.thingiverse.com/make:292781
This pod is like a TANK! Even after dremeling out some material around the pod and it is still rock solid. I have been a few crashes and it is still holding up strong! Please note, I did not design this pod, I just download the files from thingivese. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1618876
